IDetect
Existing Problem With Current Technology

Mortality & Precision
IDC kills over 600,000 people every year, over 95% are women. Invasive Ductal Carcinoma (IDC) is the most common and aggressive form of breast cancer.
Time & Cost Inefficiency
Manually reviewing each image may take considerable time and cost.
Conventional Medical Testing/ Imaging
Conventional medical testing methods require specialized laboratory equipment and well trained operators, limiting the applicability of these tests.
According to the World Health Organization (WHO), reliable and affordable medical imaging systems are not accessible to about three quarters of the World’s population.
iDetect Solution
What is the iDetect Solution?
iDetect performs painless electronic examination of thebreast. This wearable and portable device is designed to detect breast abnormalities.
- It offers a convenient early cancer diagnostic method, while it may require breast imaging and additional clinical examination by a nurse or doctor.
- It utilizes an external microwave source to illuminate the breast tissues with ultra wideband (UWB) signals, by using an antenna array placed at different locations surrounding the breast. The signals received by radar will be used to identify the tumor location and size.
Precise Diagnose: The model can diminish false results and help with early diagnosis. Performing painless electronic examination of the breast.
Fast Results: The user can diagnose the IDC stage and compare it to any previous condition significantly quicker. iDetect is capable of detecting the early cancerous tissues, hemorrhages, and other internal changes in the breast tissue formation.
Pioneer in the Market: There are no large companies currently utilizing this technology.
Niche Technology: Microwave imaging, which is non-invasive, non-ionizing, inexpensive, and harmless to humans, offers a promising alternative technique for breast tumor detection and for breast imaging.
About Us
More About iDetect Technology
Our technology consists of nine antennas distributed asymmetrically around a bra surface. The antennas do not have direct contact with the skin, which in turn eliminate the need for an immersion medium. Additionally, due to the close fit with the fabric that host the antenna array, the position of the breast relative to the array is known, which eliminates errors in the images arising from using the immersion liquid. With a high efficiency, IDetect detector saves time, money and is beneficial to the laboratories as only one trained pathologist is required to take care of examinations. It’s suited for old ages, as they are at high-risk for IDC. A proper option for regular monitoring during COVID-19 as no physical presence is required.
